I believe healing begins the moment we stop running from our stories — and instead, begin to listen to them with compassion.
My journey began in a childhood shaped by silence, fear, and the need to be strong before I was ready. Like many, I grew up in an environment where love and pain were closely intertwined. Those early experiences taught me resilience, but they also left me disconnected from my own body and emotions.
In adulthood, life brought more trials. I went through a painful separation when my child was just three months old. Becoming a single mother at that stage was one of the most challenging — and transformative — chapters of my life. For 11 years, I raised my child on my own, learning to rebuild a sense of home, safety, and self-worth from the ground up.
Then came another life-altering moment: a cancer diagnosis. It was as if life was asking me to stop, look inward, and finally begin to heal — not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually.
Movement became my medicine. Through dance, breath, and meditation practices, I discovered a way to reconnect with myself. I realised our bodies hold every memory, every emotion — and also the possibility of freedom.
Today, I hold space for others walking their own paths of healing. I offer movement therapy not as a form of exercise, but as a language — one that allows us to express, release, and remember who we truly are.
